Climate Solutions Contest
The Climate Solutions Contest rewards each year startups and SMBs for their innovation that facilitate the green and blue transition, transform businesses, industries and ultimately our society. The initiative is supported by Les Echos Le Parisien.
Three prizes will be awarded to the following impact solutions heroes:
Rewards the impact
startup of the year that
demonstrated its ability
to develop a viable and
responsible business model
Rewards the impact SME/SMB of the year that commited to transition sustainably and implemented an ambitious CSR policy.
The selection process
A judging panel composed of 5 experts will review each project according to the following criteria:
Innovative characteristic of the solution
Business model viability and target market relevancy
Jury members will score each criteria from 1 to 5, and a score over 25 will be determined. The organisation assessed with the best score will be awarded.
The 9 finalists will be invited to the WIS, and have the unique opportunity to be featured
throughout the summit:
A booth within the Climate
Each selected solution will
have a virtual booth at the
heart of the event.
Speaking opportunity at
Each selected solution will have the opportunity to deliver a pitch on the Climate Solutions Stage (5 minutes) which will also be broadcast on social media, and the winner will be featured 20 minutes on the main stage.
Each selected solution will be presented in the WIS press kit distributed to the
80+ journalists accredited.
The winner of each award will benefit from a complimentary fundraising campaign operated by Solylend’s crowdlending platform.
