Claude GRISON

Research director, CNRS & founder, Bio Inspir'

Claude Grison is a French chemist.

At the beginning of her career, she chose to study bio-organic chemistry and became a Lecturer at Nancy university (North-East France).

In 2008, she switched to ecology. She researches how to use plants to decontaminate former mine workings and how to exploit the metals that they absorb.

She is Director of Research at both the CNRS (French National Centre for Scientific Research) and at Montpellier University, setting up BioInspir in 2020.
