Aquitaine representative at the Conservatoire du Littoral (France’s Coastal Protection Agency), Nathalie Madrid is an ecologist and geographer who has over 20 years’ experience working for public bodies, local authorities, associations and design offices in the fields of regional planning and of appreciation, conservation and promotion of natural spaces.

Between 2005 and 2017, she worked in the Ile de France regional council’s Green Spaces department, focusing on the conservation and promotion of the region’s open spaces for public use.

For nearly 15 years, she has focused on public control of land. This is a very important aspect of regional projects, particularly where natural open space and farmland are concerned. “
